We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown East Tawas. Here you will find lots of stuff for the kids, peace and quiet for the adults.
We are about three miles from the Tawas Point State Park. Both the town and the state park are an easy bike ride.
There is lots of beautiful private wooded outdoor space to play in, and it includes a tire swing and great firepit for telling stories and making memories. Our private beach access is 1/2 block away- and it's a clean, beautiful beach- wonderful for sunbathing, swimming in the clear, clean waters of Lake Huron, or simply strolling along the shoreline.
There is just under 900 square feet of living space, including a beautiful modern sun room. Knotty pine interior. We have two private bedrooms, one with twin bunk beds, and the other with a queen bed. Three dining areas- one in the cottage kitchen area, another in the enclosed sun room and an outdoor picnic table. The beautiful, modern sun room is great for relaxing and listening to the surf from nearby Lake Huron
Our cottage is available for rental year-round, and has something special to offer in every season.

The Details
Rates are $75 a night (2 night minimum) or $500 a week- with a 50% non-refundable deposit due within a week of booking. Deposits are not refundable should you decide that time will not work for you. The remainder of your payment is due two weeks before you arrive. Or you can pay in full at booking, your choice. We take checks, cash or Paypal. When I receive your first payment, I also send along a fact sheet (what you need to take) and directions to the cottage. There is a packet of Local Attractions there, with directions to most nearby attractions.
The cottage has sleeping arrangements for up to four people. An additional fee of $10 per night per person will be assessed, with a maximum capacity of six people.
We can not accomodate pets. No smoking inside the cottage.
Linens and towels are not provided.
It is your responsibility to ensure the property is left clean and tidy prior to departure. Guests are responsible for any damages that occur during your stay.
Refunds will not be made on lodging due to unfavorable weather, maintenance problems, disruption of utilities, or early departure in an emergency.
